5/17/2023 0 Comments Samplitude mac os![]() It is a very good MIDI machine, and is great for regular audio tracking as well. I switched over to DP for tracking, as it is amazing how stable it is with VSTi instruments and humongous templates. ![]() I am a long-time Samplitude user, currently using Pro X3 Suite, but now only use it for mastering purposes (which is how I started with it in the first place back in '98). I'm aching to try the DP10 demo if there will be one but in the meantime please feel free to offer some insight. I read that DP uses the separate MIDI and audio track situation to handle VST's which is preferable to me as it means additional flexibility on multi out stuff like my Geist sampler that's currently not getting any use in logic. Incredibly frustration VSTi multi-out implementation. MIDI hardware integration a challenge (I Have 3 HW synths) It'd be hard to make a list of things I liked vs things I don't for Samp and Logic respectively but the core of it seems to centre around Has anyone whom uses or previously used Samplitude offer insight on it vs. I recently saw the NAMM DP 10 video and piqued my interested not least because of the clip launching and easy time stretch, as a Electronic Music producer these things greatly appeal to me. However production feels like a ' process' rather than an extension of my creative process as it was with Samplitude. I've been using Logic for at least 2 years now and am very au fait with it. ![]() Migrating from Samplitude to Logic Pro - X however I have never been able to gel with Logic like I did Samplitude. Through chance, fate and eventually conscious decision I moved over to MAC platform and in terms of O/S and stability I haven't looked back since. As my projects grew in Samplitude so did the instability. However despite continuous troubleshooting I never found stability nirvana with it. I was an avid user of Samplitude for a few years.
